From San Marcos
From I-35 in San Marcos, take the Wimberley/RR 12 exit (exit 205). RR 12 goes through San Marcos and is also called Hopkins Street. You will cross the San Marcos River and pass the court house on the Square. After the court house, stay in the right hand lane through two stop lights. At the third stop light, turn right onto RR 12. There will be a sign that says “Wimberley.” Stay on RR 12 for approximately 15 miles to Wimberley. Rock Star Ranch is located 10 miles North of Wimberley on RR 12. The addresses along RR 12 are confusing and aren’t necessarily in order, so while traveling north on RR 12 look for the road to widen and become two lanes for a short stretch at about the 8 mile mark. Continue on and look for the concrete ditch built up on the right side of the road. The entrance to the Ranch is on the left, just past the concrete drainage ditch on the right. Go through the iron gate and follow the caliche road around the pond and over the cattle guard. Rock Star Ranch property starts at the cattle guard. If you reach KC Memory Lane, you have
passed us.
